A ripoff off of Mario and Sonic.

Alright, I know it's supposed to be based on them, but this has too much things in common from Mario and Sonic. The enemies are based off mostly Sonic badniks and the main character's attacks are based off Mario's squashing attack. The only thing that isn't based off Mario or Sonic is the dash attack, but some of that was based off Sonic as well. The title menu was creative and I loved the color changing ability, but there is no plot and the bosses have almost no challenge in them, unless you're talking about the final boss. The ending flag ends up being a bit annoying, because at one point I only had one life left and I accidently fell through the hole between the platform and the flag, because the main character ends up going too fast, even not on dash mode. I also find the fact that everytime you lose a life, you lose all your excess health points. However, the health points are so easy to get that it's almost impossible to die EXCEPT that you can fall through platforms. Sometimes, I somehow dash when I only pressed the arrow key once, so I think you should make dash a seperate key. Also, the lack of powerups make this game boring. For your first sponsered game, I guess it was pretty decent, but you'll need to make it unique if you want it to become improved.

The sequel we've all been waiting for!

After playing the game Name That Pokemon, I wondered what it would be like to change it into a game with only newgrounds characters. This game is my answer. Alright, so there are loads of mistakes I'd like to point out. First, it's not Yellow Knight, it's Orange Knight and it's not Bunny and Cat, it's Doki and Nabi. Usually this isn't a huge problem, but this proves that you were rushing it and you should take your time. The hint Mascot is completely useless, so I think you should give a further explaination on what character it is. Next, the undenified screen comes much more often in this game then in the previous game which shouldn't happen because this game should be an improvement of the previous one. The Pico artwork sucked, because the hint clearly claims it is from Pico's School, but instead you gave a taller and completely different version of Pico, Nene, and Darnell which doesn't help at all. Another negative thing is that Satan looks like a doll. Also, tons of the characters don't even have names and you just created a new random name for it which makes this game almost impossible, because then you've got to try to guess what you thought the name should be. Also, the silhouettes made this game harder then it should've been, especially Dad from Dad's Home, because he's sticking his tongue out. But despite the downright impossible gameplay, there's always a walkthrough, right? In this case, there is no walkthrough making this completely impossible unless you happen to be an experienced newgrounds gamer. Also, I got the "encountered all" medal way too early and I never achieved the "perfect game" medal, even though I've done a perfect playthrough three times already. Besides the fact, that this game is downright impossible, I really enjoyed listening to the addicting music and the original idea was creative. I know that this game is SUPPOSED to be hard, but there's a difference between hard and downright impossible and this is downright impossible. The characters I need help on are numbers 28 (the 99k character), 32 (the xombie character), 34, 71 (the second fist icon), 75, 76, and 87 (the nameless main character). I hope if you do make a sequel, you can fix all the bugs and mistakes to make one awesome flash game. Keep up the great work!

This game is AWESOME!!!

Seriously, I think this deserves to become one of the best games on Newgrounds and it totally deserved to get into the Newgrounds Tank Awards nominees of 2010. The music was really addicting and their was a lot of challenge in this game, even if you try it on easy mode. The bosses were really cool and especially difficult when you don't know what to do. You've just gotta figure out their patterns and weaknesses. The story was really creative and the ending was hilarious. The tutorial was helpful and I enjoyed how whenever you learned a new skill, a message pops up and tells you how to use it. The autosave feature was really helpful, because it is almost impossible to complete this in one day. The minigame for the giant pit of doom was really fun and I liked how you extended the idea and made Larry: Big Dipper. The different weapons choices made this game better than ever though I prefer the smaller weapons even though they're weaker, because the big ones are super slow. The variety of medals were exciting and the amount of fighting in this game makes me feel I'm right inside an arcade playing this spectacular game. The art was really neat as well and the enemies were very cool. There's basically nothing bad I can say about this game at all and that is pretty hard to get because I'm a pretty picky guy. Keep up the great work on your epic flashes!

Finally I Beat This Game!!!

This game is really awesome, especially because of the many different kinds of enemies and power-ups. Some parts you could improve on are putting in some more upgrades and more achievments for an extra challenge. The XP points weren't of a whole lot of use except for getting on the leaderboard, but I guess you did mention that in the instructions and I guess it was a pretty creative title other than just claiming it points. The medals were really cool although they weren't very challenging to achieve and I just wish a few more levels could be added in. Also, you lose health very quickly so maybe start off with a few more health. Bosses added in would be really cool too and sometimes it gets really easy, especially with lots of upgrades and power-ups. The artwork was brilliant, but the music I haven't listened to although I'm sure it would've been really good especially with the ability to change the song. There's not a whole lot bad about this game except a lack of challenge, but this was a really good idea after all.
P.S. I got into the leaderboard! I got 93,040 experience points in total making me into the top 50 players of all times! Am I awesome or what?

This is the best detective game ever!!!

Seriously, I'm surprised this game didn't win the Newgrounds Tank Award 2007 for Game of the Year. The mystery was pretty intense and the voices were great. The music fit into the story perfectly and the character designs were beautiful. Also, when someone is lieing to you, the little minigame where you make them tell the truth was pretty awesome. The save button helped because this is a pretty hard game and the final part where you had to tell the information to your fellow police officer made me feel exactly as if it were a real crime scene. The credits were really cool because all the characters started dancing in cute art form. Also, the different jokes were helpful in giving a good laugh once in a while. I cannot wait for a sequel and this is one of the best games on Newgrounds. Keep up the great work!

This game is amazingly addicting!

This is like a better version of the Subspace Emmisary in Super Smash Bros Brawl! The music was very creative and fit right into each destination. The story was decent and the ending was a happy one where the elephant becomes friends with Wooly. The upgrades were very helpful and although this isn't a hardcore game, it's enough to make anyone addicted to it. The other features such as balloons and keys made this game even more addicting for you have a fun time running around finding them. The quests helped to add some extra fun and the final boss was challenging, but as long as you figure out his pattern, you are destined to win. The artwork was super cute and I loved the feature where you could make the elephant even cuter. Your hard work really paid off this time for this is now my official second favorite flash game on Newgrounds and I cannot wait for more exciting adventures with the elephant!

This is the Best Video Game Quiz Ever!!!

There are more than two-hundred pokemon to catch which makes this game never get old. The music choice was very creative and I liked how you added other video game characters as well, not just pokemon. Also, you put in characters from all kinds of different companies and in the gallery, you can view their name, their first game, the company they belong to, and the year they appeared. To top it all off, there are even 20 medals you can try to get. The title screen was very creative because it shows all the characters you've encountered and caught. Also, the autosave feature was very useful, because once the game suddenly shut down and when I went back to check on the game, it was the same as the time before it was frozen. The hint feature was very helpful when you don't know the answer but sometimes the hint doesn't help at all. Overall, this is an awesome video game quiz and I'm surprised nobody else ever thought of this idea before! Keep up the great work!

Addicting and Adventurous Game!!!

I'm pleased to say that I found out on Google that this game will be nominated in the Newgrounds Tank Awards 2010! The heros were very creative with their different abilities and attacks along with their accessories. Viegraf the Red, Simon the Magician, Popo the Epic Dwarf, Cassandra the Queen, and Kara the Slayer were all very creative names, but I have to say that Viegraf is the best choice. You can barely win any battle without him. Simon was a bit frustrating because a magician is supposed to heal and protect the party, but unfortunately, he only sent icebergs everywhere. Popo's attack isn't very useful unless you're dealing with lots of enemies and he is way to slow. Cassandra is sort of weak and she barely has time to make an attack before she gets killed. Kara is another great choice, but, like Cassandra, her health is weak, which is understandable because we're dealing with women. The unit and titan designs were fascinating and I loved their attacks and special abilities. The Pheonix and Meteorite skills were my favorites, but the pheonix was too slow to pop up on the screen when you're about to be overwhelmed and the meteorite takes way too long to load. The save feature was helpful, but if you're computer froze, there is no autosave to rely on. The bosses and extended version of units in hard or epic difficulties are very challenging. It's just too bad we can't get it ourselves. To beat the challenges, first try the Big Bang stage, but instead of trying to kill the bomb, attempt to destroy the castle first. It is much easier and it can help you get a few extra points. Then, when you have one titan on your side, attempt to attack Lord Baal while making sure to use Defend whenever you can. When you've gotten Sky Dragon, go onto the Goblin Madness Stage and defeat the black goblin with the Sky Dragon's poison. The final boss is the angel, which is very hard to defeat. Make sure you have the first three titans you can unlock and the Defend skill. The achievments were nice and challenging except for going to the help screen medal. Pixies by your side will always help you when running low on health. Overall, this is a wonderful game which would probably win the Game of the Year award if Epic Battle Fantasy 3 wasn't on the nominee list. Overall, this is an addicting, fun-filled game and has shown improvment from the first three games. I cannot wait for Epic War 5 to come out and I hope it is better than ever. Keep up the great work!

I Never Expected This From You Guys!!!

Most of you only create flashes like Button Games or Freedom of Tacos, but this was far from my expectations. I couldn't believe you guys did this collab, for this is the awesomest art collab I've ever seen on Newgrounds. The music was calm and soothing which helped us to observe the art others created. I cannot believe ever CaOmDaYn joined it, for he is mostly criticizing your work. The preloader image was a great way to start the collab. The medals are easy to get. There are 11 in total and there is almost no challenge in finding them except the secret one. The first 9 you get by searching all of the artists. Then, visit the credits for another medal. The final medal is the secret medal. You earn it by going to the Others artist and find the art titled Ultimate Poster. Then, click on Stalin (he will have a box around him) to earn the secret medal. Decky's art was very artistic. My favorite ones were the "Funky Punky Bird" and the "Dragon." CaOmDaYn's art was very war-like and cool. My favorite one was the "An indecisive Mind." ViCisBiC was a very good sketcher for women and I enjoyed the Lady Gaga image. Silent Trinity was also a very good sketcher for women. Whytrose14's art was very cartoonish and I liked how he drew Alien Hominid from Newgrounds. Uberlarry was a very random artist, because he drew a lot of random things but they were very creativly named. Sunshinedafox's art was all my favorites except Imperfect Cell, for it looks a bit too ugly. Boredouttamymind's art was basically women. Demon Daryn's art was creative, but it was always too close or it was awesome face with two pikachu ears sticking out. Choco-Block basically did no art at all except some map printout and some random Orange things. Pkmn2's art was creative, but I think there could be more than just bomberman art. CartoonWarStudios basically drew himself twice, once in color, once in sketch. RockOn12's art was only a guitar dude, Shabbo only drew a strange space whale, MikeyS9607 only submitted his ultimate poster, and LilSelena only drew the Devil May Cry girl. Totally, these artists did a pretty awesome job and I hope a sequel will be coming. You should be proud of yourself BanglaBoy96! This is the best work I've seen you do so far and I hope this improvement continues! Keep up the amazing work on these awesome flashes and one day, your medals will be aproved and you'll get a front page! Don't give up and Keep up the Great Work!!!

Thanks for a thoughtful review! I won't give up

Nice Game for Shark Violence Lovers!!!

Man, sharks are getting popular, but, although people don't know it yet, they're endangered, because the supposedly Shark Fin Soup keeps people healthy. Turns out it doesn't, it just makes it a whole lot worse. Anyways, the medals were very well thought and I liked that you made a lot of medals for hardcore gamers. The introduction to the main menu will scare the life out of you if you're a newcomer and turned the volume really high. The introduction to the game also scared the life out of me, but when you stand on the first block and the shark comes out, don't worry. He can't bite you when you're on the block for the first few seconds, then when he backs up, you have to brace. The gameplay was really fun and I liked the fact that it was never ending, but that just makes collecting bombs and throwing them at the shark useless, right? WRONG! If you get far enough, there will be a Tiger Shark, although I never met him yet. The grass blocks are super annoying. I usually die because I land on the grass platforms and the shark is coming from behind me. Like matt-likes-swords told you (OMGZ!!! Matt can I have your autograph?), there were a few bugs, but you will understand them when you play long enough. The shark is enormous by the way, which is why two-thirds of the screen is occupied by him. Getting the "Near Miss" medals are easy as pie. When the shark is only occupying one-third of the screen, go close to, but not inside his mouth. Then quickly swim or run back because he is known to suddenly go foward and do his two-thirds of the screen attack. Continue doing this trick for a while to earn some of the "Near Miss" medals. This game is really addicting overall and I hope there will be even more addicting games created by you in the future!

ThinXIII responds:

Wow man, I'm so happy that you like the game so much. :D
And yeah, I'll try to make better and addicting games in the future.

Oh, I should have ask for Matt's autograph too :D

You actually clicked my profile? Well, I'm planning on making some flashes at some point but can someone PM me on how I can make one? I would appreciate it a lot. Anyways, you can see my reviews, look at my favorites, or peek at the medals I've gotten.
